Huascar Medina

Huascar Medina, is the Poet Laureate of Kansas (2019-2021), Lit Editor for seveneightfive magazine and the creator/host of online community radio show Kansas is Lit on 785live.com.   Medina has published two collections of poetry Un Mango Grows in Kansas (2020) and How to Hang the Moon (2017). 

His work has appeared in various publications and anthologies including The New York Times, Latino Book Review, Flint Hills Review, The Very Edge: Poems (Flying Ketchup Press), Finding Zen in Cowtown (Spartan Press), Kansas Time & Place: An Anthology of Heartland Poetry (Little Balkan Press).
