This June, INTERFORM will present ASSEMBLY, an art and fashion biennial based in Northwest Arkansas. The biennial will showcase artists and designers in multiple exhibitions and activations across the region.
ASSEMBLY is seeking artists and creatives, in all mediums, to show work and engage in rich dialogue on the topic of ‘Complicating Craft’ through the lens of art and fashion. Applications are open now through March 10th.
Selected artists will have their work showcased in exhibitions and community installations alongside ASSEMBLY’s pop-up shops, NWAFW runway shows, and an INTERFORM Curatorial Cohort. Programs and exhibitions will be held in Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers and Bentonville. Strategic partnerships with the University of Arkansas School of Art, Mixd Gallery in Rogers, and the Momentary will play a role in the curatorial strategies of the exhibitions.
ASSEMBLY leverages a contemporary art biennial format to create multimedia, multi-location experiences that elevate the region’s arts, fashion, and cultural ecosystem. Applicants do not need to reside in Arkansas.
