As part of the Arts and Social Impact Accelerator Program (ASAP), and in partnership with Ozark Regional Transit and artist Octavio Logo, Crystal Bridges is seeking Northwest Arkansas artists to create an original artwork celebrating the importance of public transit. The selected work will be wrapped around the outside of an actual ORT bus and will travel daily throughout Northwest Arkansas in 2022. The goal is to help communicate the importance, vitality, and necessity of the role public transit plays in our community, and to help artists and residents imagine a better future for transportation in Northwest Arkansas—together.
Now accepting proposals for this project from October 1, 2021, through November 8, 2021. Selected artists will be notified no later than November 15. Artists whose work is selected will be paid $1,200 for their time and the use of their original work.
