Huascar Medina is Poet Laureate of Kansas Emeritus 2019-2023, Academy of American Poets Poet Laureate Fellow 2022, Lit Editor for seveneightfive magazine, a staff editor at South Broadway Press, a Sunday Op-Ed writer for the Kansas Reflector. Medina has published two books of poetry “How to Hang the Moon” and “Un Mango Grows in Kansas” a Kansas Notable Book. Most notable publications include, Latino Book Review, Green Mountain Review, Flint Hills Review, KANSAS! Magazine and New York Times.
