Music and creativity run deep in pianist and bandleader Eddie Moore‘s veins. A tenured musician, and Recording Academy member. Moore is also recipient of the 2016 Charlotte Street Generative Performance Award, 2017’s Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art “Artist in Residence” in collaboration with Rashid Johnson’s exhibit “Antoine’s Organ”. His music has also been featured commercially for Sprint, Netflix’s “Queer Eye”, Morgan Cooper’s short film “Room Tone”, and Peacock’s “Bel-Air”. His Incubator, Tribe Studios was a 2022 recipient of the Cultural Producers Grant from Charlotte Street. programs master classes and music business meet-ups, as well as providing creative/maker space for musicians and visual artists. As a Charlotte Street Fellow and a member of the Midwest Music Foundation. Moore is an integral part of the music community in Kansas City as an advocate for change and resources for professional artists.
