Located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the ARTx3 Campus is launching a new artist-in-residence program. This residency offers dedicated time, space, and resources to conduct research, teach classes, community outreach, and to create new work. Residencies can be one, three, or six months in length and come with a $1000/month stipend. Artists-in-residence will receive a $1,000 monthly stipend, a fully furnished studio apartment and a private studio.
Artists are expected to create a body of work during the residency period engaging with the community of Pine Bluff, demonstrate a commitment to artistic exploration and experimentation, conduct an artist talk(s), workshops, and/or presentations for the local community, and participate in public events and open studio sessions.
Artists of multiple disciplines (visual, literary, digital, musical, and performing arts) are encouraged to apply.
