The International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) is now accepting applications for Leadership Bluegrass, an annual education program for professionals working in the bluegrass music industry.
The program was launched in 2000 to gather a cross section of both well-established and rising leaders in bluegrass for a three-day intensive program of learning and communication.
The next Leadership Bluegrass program takes place March 7-9, 2022, in Nashville. Applications are being accepted now through Nov. 5, 2021.
There is a very competitive process for all applicants. Only 25 applicants are chosen each year and represent all areas of the bluegrass music industry. Past applicants who have not yet been selected to participate are encouraged to try again. It often requires several applications before a participant is accepted into the program.
