MacDowell is currently accepting applications for the Spring Summer 2023 residency season (March – August 2023).
MacDowell’s mission is to nurture the arts by offering creative individuals an inspiring environment in which they can produce enduring works of the imagination. This fellowship encourages applications from artists representing the widest possible range of perspectives and demographics, and who are investigating an unlimited array of inquiries and concerns.
Artists may submit only one application in a two-year period. Applicants cannot be enrolled in a degree-seeking program during the residency season (March 2023 – August 2023). Doctoral candidates who have completed all coursework may apply.
