With experience as a grantseeker and a grantmaker, Ann is thrilled to join RAC as the Grants and Programs Senior Manager. Most recently, Ann held institutional giving positions with Washington University and the Contemporary Art Museum. As a grantmaker, Ann was the executive director of the ASC Foundation, and for ten years (1993-2003), she was with RAC, where she co-founded RAC’s Community Arts Training Institute. Her work history includes leadership roles with Prison Performing Arts and River Styx. Additionally, she has been adjunct faculty with Webster University’s Arts Management & Leadership MFA program, teaching Community and Cultural Policy, as well as serving on boards and committees of numerous local arts organizations. Ever interested in the St. Louis community, she is a graduate of Leadership St. Louis.

Ann is committed to the intersection of the arts, social justice, and a thriving economy. In her new role with RAC, her priorities are to help establish a more efficient, equitable, and engaging experience for artists and arts organizations in the region. In the words of Rollo May, “What if imagination and art are not the frosting at all, but the fountainhead of human existence?”

Ann earned a bachelor’s degree from Benedictine College with a double major in English and Communications.
