Becki Waugh is a Visual Artist and Arts Administrator. She holds a master’s degree in Arts Leadership and Management from Wichita State University. Becki was awarded an Artist INC Fellowship in 2021 and an Arts Leadership Fellowship in 2023. She was recognized by Mayor Mike Padilla’s Art Initiative in 2023 for her contribution to the arts in Topeka, Kansas. Her artwork can be seen on exhibit throughout Topeka and Shawnee County including in the NOTO Arts District, galleries in downtown Topeka, and in private collections. In addition to painting, drawing, and creating Becki enjoys working to advocate for the arts and making the arts continually more accessible in her community. She believes in the importance of art in society and for the individual. Becki creates new ways of bringing art to the people. She uses her skills, experiences as a working artist, and her passion for the arts to help implement impactful arts programs in her role as Programs Coordinator for ArtsConnect, a not-for-profit arts access organization in Topeka Kansas where she lives with her children and pets.
