Elizabeth Spavento is an arts administrator and curator living in Kansas City, MO. She started Border Patrol with Meg Hahn, Jared Haug, and Baxter Koziol, a curatorial collective that staged exhibitions and events in a former dentist’s office, burrito shop, shopping mall, cemetery, and bodega from 2016 – 2024. She was awarded a 2023-2024 Creative Corps Fellowship with 18th Street Arts Center (Los Angeles, CA) and residencies with Iris Project (Los Angeles, CA); ACRE (Steuben, WI); and the Centre for the Study of Substructured Loss (London, England).
