Lisa Marie Evans is a filmmaker, animator, and artist advocate. Her feature documentary, “In Her Words: 20th Century Lesbian Fiction,” has screened in Italy, Perú, the United States, Ireland, Spain, and Mexico, and will screen at Queer Screen’s 30th Mardi Gras Film Festival during World Pride in Sydney, Australia.
Evans has mentored hundreds of multidisciplinary artists through Artist INC and in her current role as the Director of Creative Development for CACHE, where she leads professional development programming and grant-making for artists. She is a 2021 recipient of the Arkansas Arts Council’s Fellowship Award in Cinematic Arts.
