Lisa Marie Evans is a filmmaker, animator, and visual artist. Her documentary In Her Words: 20th Century Lesbian Fiction has screened in 16 countries. Supported by the US Embassy in Rome to advance LGBTQI+ policies, she was also a keynote speaker at Gendercom VIII in Italy. Her animations have premiered internationally, and her public art has exhibited across the US An Arkansas Arts Council Fellow and Artists 360 recipient, Lisa Marie directs the Artists Creative Fund at CACHE, where she has distributed over $1 million to more than 215 creatives and mentored hundreds of multidisciplinary artists.
