Dr. Rachel Miller moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1994 from Ramstein, Germany. Her childhood living abroad afforded her the opportunity to explore different cultures, an experience that continues to heavily influence her writing and work in the field of cultural heritage. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Gender Studies and a Masters of Arts in Rhetoric & Writing from the U of A Little Rock. In 2014, Miller graduated from the Heritage Studies PhD program at Arkansas State University. For the past 17 years, Dr. Miller has created and managed educational outreach programs for state, city, and non-profit arts and cultural organizations. She also teaches writing and literature for university and non-traditional students. Dr. Miller has been the Executive Director for the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas since April 2017.
