Every year, three visual artists and two performing artists from the Kansas City area are awarded an unrestricted cash grant of $10,000 by a rotating panel of local and national award advisors. These awards provide financial support, critical attention, and increased exposure for local artists with the aim of fostering their continued artistic and professional development.
