Volland’s multi-disciplinary residency program hosts writers, historians, visual artists, designers, musicians, and scientists. Creative professionals of all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Volland is located in the Flint Hills of Kansas. It is the largest remaining contiguous area of tallgrass prairie in North America that once stretched from Texas to the Canadian border, from the western edge of Indiana to eastern Kansas.
