Artadia is now accepting applications for the first annual 21c Artadia Award from all visual artists who have lived and worked within the Kansas City area for a minimum of two years. The
eligible counties are: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, Platte, Ray, and
Wyandotte counties. Individual artists and collaboratives working in all visual media and at any
stage in their career are strongly encouraged to apply. The Awardee will be selected through a
two-tier jury process that employs a panel of leading curators in the summer of 2022. Selected awardee receives $10,000 unrestricted award.
The 21c Artadia Award is:
● Open to anyone living and working within Cass, Clay, Jackson, Johnson, Leavenworth,
Miami, Platte, Ray, and Wyandotte counties for a minimum of two years
● Free of application fees and project outline requirements
● Unrestricted
Apply if you:

and Wyandotte counties for a minimum of two years
● Are not currently enrolled in an art-related degree program
● Would like to have your work seen by a panel of prominent curators
