AltCap’s new, accelerated microloan for artists — ARTcap Express — is now open to creative entrepreneurs in Kansas, Missouri and Texas who are seeking up to $10,000 in small business financing.
Funded in part by Etsy, a global marketplace that connects millions of passionate and creative buyers and sellers, ARTcap Express offers artists a streamlined loan application process and accessible terms, including non-collateralized financing for loans under $10,000.
Creative entrepreneurs can use ARTcap funds for working capital, equipment, materials, startup costs, or to support other growth opportunities.
ARTcap was created in 2016 to provide small business loans that fuel the passion of visual artists, musicians, photographers, actors, dancers, makers and creatives from every discipline. Artists may still apply for financing over $10,000 by contacting an AltCap Business Development Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
AltCap received a $500,000 grant to create ARTcap Express from the Etsy Uplift Fund, which supports nonprofits working to dismantle barriers to entrepreneurship.
