Eepi Chaad is the Program Officer-Professional Development and oversees the Artist INC, Artist INC Express, and Artist Leadership Fellows programs.
Eepi Chaad (she|her) is a practicing multidisciplinary artist, cultural worker, and naturalist based in Houston, TX. Eepi tells stories using textiles, fibers, metals, places, and people. Eepi collaborates with various arts and culture organizations currently including serving on the PrintMatters board, the Houston Museum Educators Roundtable steering committee, and advisory boards for Baker Ripley Gulfton and Buffalo Bayou Partnership. Prior to joining the team at Mid-America Arts Alliance, Eepi has utilized art to build community in roles with Arts Connect Houston, Art League Houston, and Artist Boat. Eepi believes art is for every community and creativity is in every human.
Allison is the Artist Services Program Associate working across all professional development (Artist Leadership Fellows, Artist INC Express and Artist INC) programs.
Allison Bowman (she/her) is a visual artist who creates abstracted botanical mixed-media environments. She moved to the Kansas City area after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in fine art from K-State in 2017. Allison has painted murals in Kansas and Missouri, displayed her artwork in many art exhibitions locally and nationally, participated in community projects such as Art In The Loop and the KC Parade of Hearts. She has previously worked in retail art galleries and at the Arts Council of Johnson County.
