Fort Union National Monument Residency / Deadline: September 30

Located in Northern New Mexico, the National Park Service offers the Fort Union National Monument Artist-in-Residence program March 1-28, 2023. This residency is open to artists of all disciplines and offers a $1000 stipend and lodging.

Nestled against the far tip of the Sangre de Cristo Range and facing the great plains, Fort Union National Monument is one of New Mexico’s legendary and historic frontier army posts, located in Mora County near Watrous, NM, was the hub of commerce, national defense, and migration at the final stretch of the Santa Fe Trail.
