Ploughshares offers its annual Emerging Writer’s Contest and is open to writers of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry who have yet to publish or self-publish a book. One winner in each of the three genres is awarded publication, $2000, review from Aevitas Creative Management, and a one-year subscription.
