Anuradha Naimpally is a Bharata Natyam dancer and master teacher whose performances present both traditional repertoire and original works with unexpected pairings through collaborations with diverse artists on relevant social topics. A 2018 Austin Arts Hall of Famer, she is the recipient of numerous global awards for her work that spans the formal to the unconventional. Anuradha is a selected artist with the Texas Commission on the Arts Touring Roster. As founder and director of Austin Dance India since 1989, she sees firsthand the transformative power of dance.
