For over twenty years Houstonian, Christine West has produced creative cultural programs. As an administrator, curator, and community connector with The Orange Show, Galveston Arts Center, Lawndale Art Center, and Houston First Corporation, she cultivated opportunities for artists, many they may not otherwise be able to consider. An advocate for local creatives, she has curated and juried art exhibitions, and served on review panels for numerous granting organizations. Her visual artist practice focuses on analog collage and repurposing 2-D ephemera. Currently living in Albuquerque, she has exhibited in art spaces in Texas and New Mexico.
