Emi Lou

“Emi Lou” Matsushita (she/her) is a dynamic creative entrepreneur, educator, and dance professional with 28+ years of global experience. Blending science, artistry, and business, she empowers creatives through coaching, entrepreneurship, and embodied leadership. Emi holds an MFA in Dance Science, has researched hip-hop dance battle culture, and curated events like Bridges Festival and Open Your Mind (London). As faculty at UNT and
Dallas College, she champions movement as a tool for connection and growth. She also leads initiatives such as Art Boost Dallas working alongside creative organizations and institutions to enhance entrepreneurship and impact in the artist community.
