Kendell Harbin is a teaching artist, media maker, and fabricator working in Kansas City, MO, USA. She currently serves as the Manager and Lead Instructor and for Build Trybe’s wood and metal fabrication shop. A proud program of Cornerstones of Care, Build Trybe provides employable skills training to young adults who are aging out of foster care, experiencing houselessness, or otherwise under-resourced. Previously, Kendell was named an Interchange Artist Fellow (2019) for her work developing a home video preservation project serving LGBTQIA+ communities in Middle America.
