Kevin Kresse is an Arkansas native who supports his family as a sculptor and painter in Little Rock, AR. He has exhibited his work in New York, NY, Washington DC, Memphis TN, Atlanta GA, and various institutions around Arkansas. Kresse was named the 2015 Individual Artist for Arkansas from the Governor’s Art Awards, as well as a painting fellowship from the Mid-America Arts Alliance, and another fellowship from the Arkansas Arts Council.
Kresse is currently working on an 8ft tall bronze Johnny Cash, to represent Arkansas in the US Capitol, in Washington DC.
