After graduating in 2010 from Kansas City Art Institute with a degree in Ceramics & Art History, Laura Blumenberg began a career making art and serving artists in her community as a studio assistant and administrator in Kansas City, Brooklyn, and New York, NY. In 2017 she began making ceramic jewelry under the name Storm Club from a minuscule studio in her tiny Brooklyn apartment. Since returning to Kansas City in 2018, Laura has experimented with painting, paper, and fiber techniques from a slightly bigger studio in her much larger apartment.
