LISA MAIONE is an artist based in Kansas City, Missouri. Her work explores notions of memory and the body through photography, drawing, projected media, and writing. Concurrent to her artistic research and design practice, she serves as an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Kansas City Art Institute. She holds an MFA and BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Typeface Design from Type@Cooper NYC.
