Vanessa Aricco is a multimedia poet exploring conflict and duality, the precarious nature of life and the anxiety that arises from it. She has released two poetry albums, The Midnight Rush and Human Animal with her partner and collaborator Ashley Raines. She was a Charlotte Street Foundation 2019-22 Studio Resident where she completed her first full-length poetry collection, On the Cusp of Air and Water. She is currently working on a new album entitled Teenage Poetry.
Vanessa Aricco splits her time between Kansas City, MO and the San Luis Valley where she built a cabin with her partner during the pandemic. Her writing examines our precarious relationships with capitalism, climate, and culture.
