Zandra Sneed-Dawkins, an interdisciplinary artist, muralist, and poet, weaves vibrant stories that honor African American heritage and the lives of influential women, amplifying histories too often left unheard. A 2020 graduate of Washburn University and the 2024 Washburn College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Fellow, Zandra is the CEO of Zandra’s Art and Art Starts Here. Her expressive work draws on personal memory and place, connecting generations through art that uplifts, educates, and breathes new life into collective history.
